Benson & Bingham Provide Pro Bono Representation for Injured Military Man

Source: Internal Release

Military airman critically injured on his motorcycle represented by Joseph L. Benson II, Esq. in a pro-bono case received his insurance proceeds without need for government repayment of his medical expenses that exceeded over $350,000 for ICU care.

“We are pleased that the US government had the heart to waive the lien amount given the catastrophic nature of the injuries including short term memory loss and permanent brain damage. While our client will never be whole again, the limited insurance proceeds are at least something he will benefit from given the tragedy, and we were glad we could assist a US service member who directly assists us all.”
