Away from the glitz and glamor of “Sin City”, Las Vegas provides endless off-road trails for dirt bikes, ATV’s and side-by-sides such as the Yamaha Rhino. While there is nothing better than throttling through the desert and getting away from it all, many serious injuries and sometimes death may occur. The Yamaha Rhino was initially introduced by Yamaha as a work/utility side-by-side vehicle often utilized by Farmers in 2003. However, the Yamaha Rhino quickly progressed as one of the most desired ATV’s. Today Rhino enthusiasts spend tens of thousands of dollars modifying their toys.
While the fun is enticing, many people have been maimed or killed while operating the Yamaha Rhino, or other recreational vehicles in Nevada The Yamaha Rhino has a narrow wheelbase allowing the Rhino to rollover with a sharp turn. Initially, doors were not provided on the Yamaha. As a natural reaction during a rollover passengers would extend their legs outside of the Rhino, causing severe crushing injuries and sometimes amputation. As a result Yamaha sent out warnings to Rhino owners, and eventually recalled the Rhino, as Yamaha determined the addition of doors would cure the manufactures defect.
To date, lawsuits across the nation have been filed against Yamaha for its production of the Rhino citing product liability, manufacturing defects and failure to warn causes of action.

My mother also has circhossis and autoimmune hepatitis. The doctor prescribed prednison 20 mg to her and after a couple of months she was prescribed again another medication which is mercaptopurine. After 2 weeks of taking mercaptopurine she was rushed to the ER again and they say she had sepsis infection. She was in hospital from June2 and release June 4 and they say she has sepsis infection and ok to discharge, after 3 days we come again to ER and the following day she died and they told us that she has septic shock. I read the mercaptopurine is for patient with leukemia and my mother has no cancer. Its a chemotherapy drug. From what I read patient taking steriod and chemotherapy drugs are susceptible for sepsis infection. Do I have a case. Thanks
